Arthur LAVILLA (Composition/Guitare)

(Composer/Guitarist) was born in France in 1966 is most well-known under the name d’Arthur Lavilla. Arthur studied classical guitar under the celebrated concert guitarist Roberto Aussel, and composing at the Scola Contorum de Paris (Pierre Doury) also in collaboration with the Chilean composer Sergio Ortega. He won his first interpretation prize in 1989 at Paris/Pantin. He is now a professor and concert musician. As a producer and composer is has worked on many projects (albums, music for film) and since 1994 he owns his own recording studio Lavilaprod.

J.R CABRERA MONTES DE OCA

Born in Cuba in 1986, JR Cabrera studied at the national conservatory of Havana. He won 3 times first prize for his composition and in 2003 at the age of 16 he won first prize for his jazz piano given to him by the celebrated Cuban pianist Chucho Valdes. For the last 6 years, JR Cabrera has been an international concert performer and lives in France since 2010.

Frank RUBIO

Born in Cuba in 1960 Frank Rubio is an international bassist. He won a Latin Grammy with the Chucho Valdes quartet in 1999 for the album “ Live at the Village Vanguard” He was also nominated in 2001, 2003, and 2005. He lives in France since November 2010.
